What you’ll do
As a Web Developer you will be coding for inspiring design and layout of our clients’ websites according to specifications. Your responsibilities start with building a website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, customizing and re-adapting everything from the home page to site layout and function. Once a website has been created, a Web Developer will generally assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the website.

Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down.
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built.
- Constant communication with the team to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring deliverables within a timeframe.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in web programming.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and Javascript.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Familiarity of database systems such as MySQL.
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as php.
- Basic knowledge of SEO process.
Bonus Points
- WordPress API.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
